Frequently Asked Questions

We are open 52 weeks in the year, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

We cater to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. We have allocated rooms based on age and developmental milestones.

We have a fully qualified chef on site who prepares and serves a 5-course meal each day. All children allergies and dietary requirements are catered for.
Our 4 week rotational menu was designed in consultation with Munch and Move and is approved the the Australian Health Guidelines

We follow an open-ended program where the children guide the program rather than the program guides the children. This allows us to ensure the characteristics of each child is heightened with a little love and Nurture. The program is based on the standards and practice of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). The EYLF extends and enriches children’s learning and development from birth to five years.

To find out how the framework is used to support your child’s learning and development, contact us for a tour now.

We have a Medical Conditions Policy that outlines practices for managing conditions such as allergies, asthma and anaphylaxis. Upon enrolment, families will be asked to provide medical condition plans for their child that will be followed, should an incident relating to the child’s medical condition arise. This will be followed by centre staff as they are all First Aid trained. During this process a deep conversation will be made with families on how we plan to manage your child’s medical condition, minimise risk and promote their health and safety.

For children aged 0-2 years: 1 educator to 4 children

For children aged 2-3 years: 1 educator to 5 children

For children aged 3-5 years: 1 educator to 10 children

Yes. Upon enrolment, each family will be provided with special access to the centre. This will allow you to enter and exit throughout the day. We promote a collaborative relationship with families and the community, so if you would like to be involved into our program, please let management know!

To prioritise the safety of every child, we have implemented a strict policy. Only individuals registered and authorised through the parent/guardian portal will be allowed to pick up children. If our team members are unfamiliar with the person collecting your child, they must present valid photo identification as proof of authorization. This measure ensures that only authorised individuals can collect children, guaranteeing their safety.

What is CCS based on?

  • CCS is a single, means and activity tested payment
  • Eligibility is determined by an activity test (both parents must work, study or volunteer at least 8 hours a fortnight)
  • CCS is paid directly to service providers and passed on to families as a fee reduction

Activity Test

The activity test is determined at family level. In a two-parent family, both parents must meet the activity test and the person with the lower number of hours will determine the relevant step of the activity test.

In a sole parent family, the sole parent must meet the activity test.
